FAQ

Q: Can I use MyFitData on the phone that is already paired with my Apple Watch?
A: Yes, you can. However, the information that you will see in the app is already available on your Activity app.

Q: Why do I see a different different stats on Health app compared to MyFitData /ShareFitData?
A: MyFitData/ShareFitData will only show the activity that is gathered by your Apple Watch, while Health app aggregates multiple sources (like your iPhone data or other apps data). Because of this, it is possible to have discrepancies between the data that your Watch tracks and the data in Health app. You can see all this data from multiple sources in your iphone in Health App/Browse/ActivitySteps/Show all data/ and enter in current day.

Q: Does MyFitData have integration with HealthKit?
A: Not for now, but it is planned to be added in the future.

Q: Does this work with other smartwatches?
A: Not for now, but it is planned to be added in the future.

Q: Can i follow my workouts on MyFitData?
A: Not for now, but we wish to include this as soon as possible.

Q: Can i see my EKG data on MyFitData?
A: Not for now. With current APIs that Apple provides there's no way to retrieve this information on the apple watch. Hopefully we will be able to include this in the future.

Q: Does this work with Android as well?
A: Yes, MyFitData app will be available in Google Play Store.

Q: Has this been tested on all Android devices?
A: Unfortunately, not, since there are a dozen of those. MyFitData was mainly tested with multiple Samsung and Pixel phones.

Q: I tried the app on Android and connection doesn't seem to be working all the time.
A: Usually Android's Bluetooth is not the most stable and it's also impacted by battery someyimes. Please make sure that you have enough battery and try to toggle bluetooth off & on or restart your phone. If your problem persists, please contact us.

Q: Why does my phone not sync with the Apple Watch at all?
A: See response above. Additionally, also try re-pairing the Apple Watch and after a new pairing make sure that you can see the devices in Bluetooth settings. If things still don't work, please contact us.

Q: Can i also see my Android notifications on the apple watch if i'm using ShareFitData?
A: Not for now, but we wish to include this as soon as possible.
